Sydney Wilson graduated in the top 25% of her class from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in May 2022. During law school, Sydney was involved in multiple organizations including the Military Veterans Law Association, UMKC Law Review, Student Bar Association, and volunteered as an Emissary for the admissions office. She participated in UMKC Law’s Sentencing Mitigation Clinic and worked as Professor Sean O’Brien’s research assistant. Additionally, Sydney worked as an intern with the Western Capital Division of the Missouri State Public Defender working on death penalty cases before she joined Miller & Terry as a law clerk in 2021. Prior to law school, Sydney obtained a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at the University of South Dakota where she played on the women’s soccer team.
As a licensed attorney in Missouri and Kansas, Sydney works alongside Daniel Miller and Jeff Gedbaw on municipal, state, and federal criminal matters. Sydney utilizes her skills and experience in combination with the vast expertise of Miller & Terry to advocate for and serve her clients to the best outcome possible.
